At Speech and Myo of Lubbock, we are a private therapy practice that provides in-person and online therapy services for all ages—infants to adults—serving Lubbock and the surrounding West Texas communities.

We specialize in breathing therapy, pre and post tongue tie therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, feeding therapy, swallowing therapy, speech and language therapy, voice therapy, memory therapy, craniosacral therapy, and therapy following a TBI or stroke.

We empower patients by developing care plans tailored to their needs and emphasize consistency with home exercises to ensure steady progress and successful therapy completion.

Meet Our Therapist
Daniela Quintero
M.A., CCC-SLP, QOM

Daniela Quintero is a licensed bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and a Qualified Orofacial Myologist. She earned her degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, in May 2013. With extensive experience across various settings, she provides care for individuals across the lifespan, including infants (birth to three years), school-aged children, and adults. Recognizing the need for specialized orofacial myology services in the region, she founded Speech and Myo of Lubbock in May 2021.

At Speech and Myo of Lubbock, our care is personalized, evidence-based, and designed to make progress feel achievable-whether it's supporting parents with their infant with pre and post tongue-tie support, helping a toddler with open mouth breathing, assisting a school-aged child with speech clarity, or guiding adults through recovery following a stroke.

Therapy for
Infants

We provide infants with therapy due to limited tongue function and for pre and post tongue tie support. This is especially noticeable when breastfeeding due to:

Mothers experience pain/discomfort
Mothers experience mastitis
Feels like a full time job just to feed baby
Clicking or smacking noises while feeding
Gagging, choking, coughing while feeding
Fussiness
Gassiness
Reflux symptoms
Poor weight gain

In-Person & Online Therapy Services

The in-person therapy services provides a face-to-face interaction, a stronger therapeutic connection, and the ability to assist the patient with tactile cues and hand-over-hand assistance as needed during the therapy session.

The online therapy services offers greater convenience, flexibility, and accessibility, particularly for those that live out of town or with time constraints.

A hybrid approach is also an option, combining both in-person and online therapy services for maximum benefit.
